Hi!
Please can you help me ID these two plants which are in my garden. Someone did tell me once but I can't remember what I was told!
They are growing together ... The first one grows up and out; the second one has flowered and I think they were purple flowers. The third photo shows them growing together.

The top one looks like jasminum nudiflorum.
Could the other one be a penstemon? It would've had bell-like flowers, that didn't finish that long ago.
First looks like Jasminium nudiflorum
Could the second be Jasminium beesianum?
