Decking Stain

Morning
We have got to stain the decking today but don't quite have enough to cover the entire area? Can I possibly water it down? I don't really want to buy another tin as we live in rental property. Thanks

You can water it down sligHtly by up to about 10%. That's about 250ml in a 2.5 litre tin. It will be paler but You shouldn't notice when it fades anyway.

OTHERWISE YOU WILL MAKE A TERRIBLE OILY WATERY MESS!!!
