Applying Nemaslug

Hi everyone,
I'm going to apply my packet of Nemaslug to the lawn on Sunday evening and was wondering which method is the best.
By watering can or by Miracle Gro sprayer, if anyone has experience of either method, then any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Why do you want to Nemaslug the lawn, most people water it onto the beds?
Need a watering can, with a rose with large holes, the packet will tell you what diameter.

Hi punkdoc...I'm going to do the lawn because it says that on the pack, I don't have flower beds as such, just raised planters and pots, and from what I have read the source of my slug problem is my lawn, as this is where the young/baby slug are coming from.
Early on a morning you can find hundreds of white slugs emerging from my lawn

Ey up, Verdun...from what I have read, 95% of the slugs in any garden / allotment are under the soil until they are big enough to emerge, and the ones we actually see make up the other 5%
So with that in mind, the baby ones I see every day must have come up through the soil under my lawn, because as I mentioned above I don't have flower beds as such, and if the small slugs were travelling from elsewhere, just to feed on my grass, them there would be thousands of slimey slug trails covering every pathway in the garden, but there aren't.
Maybe I have got this all wrong, but from reading up on Nemaslug, if you treat the lawn the nematodes are washed down through the grass and into the soil and then they seek out the young slugs and infect them, thus causing them to stop feeding and die.
Thanks for the advice re the watering can rose, I'll buy a coarse one in the morning.

Thanks for the advice, Verdun...going to try and wait for a rainy day to apply the Nemaslug, which should help with the watering in.

As soon as it pees it down I'll be out with the Nemaslug, then its selfie time

So do you need to apply the nematodes around plants more than once for them to have full affect?
I would apply the nemeslug to your pots rather than the lawn as the little blighters will be hiding underneath them and in the warm soil within them. slugs prefer digging into loosened soils (pots/beds etc.) not relatively compact soils like under lawns
