I have one fruit starting to ripen - it's in the kitchen, on a south facing windowcill, which gives you an idea of how cool it is up here. Think I may have to wait a while for the ones in the growhouse
You're right though cornelly, they taste great - especially when you pick and eat them warm straight from the plant.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Our tomatoes are going crazy, we have more than we can eat so I've been making sauce. They do seem to dry out a lot so I've sat both containers in large buckets and they seem much more happy like that. They are also in direct sunlight all day.

Hey Verdun what am I doing wrong up here in Derbyshire in my greenhouse I have only picked
three ripe tomatoes so far and have Tumbler variety in a basket outside that's only given me ten.
This time last year the tumbler were producing loads of ripe ones, must be the weather.
