Just to confirm that the son-in-law of one of our neighbours, who is a nurseryman with a particular interest in trees, reckons our eucalyptus is absolutely fine. He agreed that 'transplant shock' has probably exacerbated a leaf-drop which is normal at this time of year, and said we would only need to worry if this occurred with no new growth evident. In fact there's loads of new growth, and flowers may already be on the way, so he suggested we relax and just enjoy it. Phew!

Up now Pat - 7.30 am!. We have a friend visiting us from Australia in 3 weeks - hope she might have some ideas too!
