I find healthy rhodos or azaleas can shrug off damage from adult vine weevils.
The problem is the grubs moving to the nearby Heucheras, but I don't bother about them too much - Heucheras are so easy to propagate that I chuck out damaged ones and replace with a new, healthy one. Works well for me
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
How to fix the adult vine weevil problem. Will Bug clear ultra work on them. These are mostly winter and early spring flowering plants kept together in pots so no bees or anything else around them.

How do you propagate them FG? Mine aren't big enough to divide.
Pull a bit off and stick it in some soil or compost Pp. If it's even got a tiny bit of root it'll grow
They seed quite well too - always seem to be same as parent plant - or very close to it.

Excellent. Thanks.
oh dear. was busy at work and now seeing all these posts. Thanks for replies and concerns.
Yes I will treat all the pots. I had ordered three scotts vine weevil concentrates and one nematodes pack.waiting for those to get delivered.
I have over 60 pots in that area with clematis, winter flowering shrubs, hellebores etc and pots are mostly large and medium like 18inch and 12 inch

They move quite slowly. Squish them. Look under the rims of pots. They also wander about on walls sometimes
I wish they were as bright as lily beetles. Will hunt for them.
You'll get an eye for them and learn to spot them even in your peripheral vision
