Plum tree failing to thrive

My 4 year old plum tree has no fruit on its West facing side and very few fruit on the East. Now the leaves on the West side are green along the veins but yellow round the edges. Does anyone know what might be wrong with it?

    Mine went like that, a couple of doses of miracle grow and it went green again!

    However, as I stated in my new thread, my plums are so manky this year (bloody plum moth caterpillars!) that it is coming out and I'm going to put in another pear tree.

    Experiment aborted!
