Just shows anything is possible if you try hard enough. Well done Nanny Beach. My problems are small in comparison so looks like I have nothing to worry about.
Just about to tackle a mountain of i******g before hosing down the trailer ready to collect new beds for me and Charlie tomorrow. Not quite sure how they will fit in, or how I will manage them, but I will do it. They will be the first pieces of furniture to go in the house and really what else do you need apart from a bed.
Next most important things will be as many cutting as I can take from this garden.

Besides the beds? Two big floor cushions and a music system.
Its almost the time of year for collectiong fruits from the hedgerows and if you plant a few, you have the makings of a native hedge in no time. It'll be like growing the walls of your future castle.
DD - pots and tubs and any old container you can find to fill with cheap bulbs and bedding and whatever else you can find to plant in them and take to your new place. Old boots, old wellies, old colanders, anything.
I expect you'll find seeds going cheap as the season advances and you can save them to sow next spring. Keep an eye out for late sales of bulbs too as the shops clear their shelves for Xmas displays.
Concentrate on making Charlie feel safe and secure and comfortable while he adjusts to the changes and then onwards and upwards to your new venture together.

Thanks for the advice, I'm sure we can make it look nice, I'll be posting pics as soon as I have something worth showing. I have actually been saving some bulbs from last year that I lifted way back in spring, I'd forgotten I'd done it too.
Charlie is ok at the moment, we haven't moved in yet (waiting for beds to start with) but he has been around the house, picked the room he wants, chosen his bed and bedding and loves the tree in the garden, I am going to get him a tyre for a swing. OH is keeping the family home and I may get an opportunity to take some cuttings and divisions but a bit awkward at the moment, OH not happy (obviously) about me leaving, thinks it's a stupid notion and I'll be back once I get into the 'real world' and realise how hard it is and how lucky I am now without realising it - Hmm, we'll see.
There is a car boot sale on in the next village on Sunday, I'll be wandering around there to look for some 'interesting' plant pots. Thanks all.
