Honeysuckle problem
Can anyone tell me what I should do. My honeysuckle's leaves are yellowing and browning which eventually drop off.
Not sure what the cause of this is. Could it be a lack of water or more importantly a lack of a nutrient in the soil or a disease or a pest. Most of the leaves are large and healthy looking. I don't want this problem to take a hold and would appreciate a solution to remedy this.
Thank you.

Are you feeding it regularly. There is some natural leaf drop and if the other leaves are ok then I don't think you need to worry too much.
Arty, water it copiously. Honeysuckle need moisture at the roots, they rarely need any feeding and leaf discolouration and leaf drop are a sign of lack of water. All feeding does is induce stress as they can't take up the nutrients due to lack of moisture. A happy honeysuckle has wet feet.
Thank you. Drenched it today and will keep topping it up.
It was a very old honeysuckle and not doing very well when I moved into here in autumn.
Cut it back hard and was really excited when it started showing little green shoots.
It's doing well now except the yellowing leave thing.
So pleased with it. I even have two flowers!

Is your honeysuckle problem look like the same problem I am having? Yellowing and then leaf drop.
