curled leaves on pepper plant
in Fruit & veg
Hi
This is the first time I have grown a red pepper plant. The leaves are curled and the first pepper looks a bit strange.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks

Hi there livvies mum. I have to say that I am not seeing anything any different to how my brother's peppers look. His are never the perfect shape I can buy in the local Supermarket but they have all the flavour. Plus his pepper leaves are crinkly too. Have you been feeding them fairly regularly? It maybe due to our unusual weather this year but I don't think you have anything to worry about. Hopefully another forum member may have more knowledge and expertise.
It could be to much sunlight, don't worry about the shape of the pepper. Are there any green fly?
Hi thanks for reply. I will move to a shadier spot although the soil is usually quite moist. No I can't see any bugs at all.
Peppers prefer to be kept a bit on the dry side.

Actually, peppers like hot and bright spot. I will only water in the morning and move it back to green house as it gets cooler by night.
Thanks for replys. I was at a garden center yesterday and noticed the leaves on their pepper plants were the same. I will just leave it where it is. I don't have a greenhouse should I bring it indoors at night?
If night temperatures drop below 10C it might do better if it comes in at night - but mine are outside in a sheltered spot and producing just fine.

The first pepper has black marks on it. Is this normal?
