    Not ready here, but I have loganberries to be going on with. My summer raspberries all died! They are in a wild bit of the garden, I think they got outcompeted. Autumn ones look very healthy though.

    quick question as you mention sloes - how old does a hedge need to be to fruit? No fruits yet. No flowers.

    No where near ready here in my garden.  Right on time I would think.

    Wild blackberries now ripe in the hedge and the cultivated ones have about 20% ripe. Leics.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Made the 1st apple and blackberry crumble yesterday and picked more this afternoon until rain stopped picking - as you say scroggin, a bumper crop this year
