Planted 1 seed each. Still no flower, but 1 clear winner already. 8ft and growing!
And the lovely mix of African and French marigolds are starting to make an appearance:

Brilliant idea C3k.
Years ago our boss gave us all three sun flower seeds each for a competition. He just hates to lose. There were all sorts of shabby tactics but I popped mine in a bed that had been prepped for a Clematis montana and it went off like a rocket. There's a pic of me somewhere standing on a stepladder measuring it. The prize was a bottle of wine.
I never did get it because I don't drink wine. How's that fair?
