Can you ID this plant please?

Hi there, can anyone help me please with the name of this plant? It came in a set of lucky dip perennial plugs last year that were unlabelled. It has started to flower and I don't know what it is.

Flower looks like a Veronicastrum, but the leaves don't look right.

How can you lie there and think of England

Thanks for the replies, I will take a look at those. I will grab the camera and get a shot of the leaves.

Thanks everyone for your input, good to know what it is and that its not going to get massive. Such a pretty flower and luckily it fits in well with the colour scheme.
