    It'll be fine outside -even if it is covered with snow - it's one plant you really don't have to worry about.

    I might even buy a couple more for outside now, knowing they can just be left to grow (well, partially die ... but then grow again!)  image 

    Thank-you nutcutlet, I'll carry on leaving the chrysanthemum to it's growing (should I not be feeding these plants plant food while they don't have flowers by the way??)

    If you over feed a plant, you get a lot of leaves and less flowers. Most composts should have some feed in them, but a once a week watering with a teaspoon of phostrogen in a watering can full of water will be ok.

    Yes, I did wonder if I've been over watering them too as tend to give them a sprinkle, around 600 / 700ml, every afternoon, but it's still raining very often up in Lancashire (as always) !

    The plant food was bought for the rose bush which, thankfully, does have some lovely pink flowers blooming! But I'll pop an odd teaspoon in these too :-)
