Thanks both!  The leaves are browning a bit: does it need a feed?!  It's me Dad's - sits in the conservatory with a bit of water 3x a year or so.

I gave one to my brother many years ago as a housewarming gift. It was either that or a cactus! He put it on the windowsill, drew the curtains ( very hot summer, needed shade) and promptly forgot it. Returned from a trip to find it flowering! If they get lots of light and warmth they are very hard to kill.

Yes, there's some good info there Pete, just wondered if anyone could diagnose the particular issue.  We'll see if we can green it up with judicous feeding and perhaps a re-pot.  Thanks again to everyone!

I'd give it some water and stick it in the sun Rob, but then my plants earn their keep, they live, they die I move on image

Put it in a bigger pot too and don't bake it!

    In London. Keen but lazy.

Introduce sun to it gently. If it's been somewhere out of the sun for a long time, don't let it get sunburn.
Feed only once a month or less during the warmer months and keep it fairly dry over winter with no feed.
    They like dry sunny conditions.

Next yr it'll be happy to bask in the sun all day.

They're not easy to kill, but I did mange to kill one yrs ago when an early frost caught it when it was still outside.
