Knocked off rose bud

Hi guys,

I have a very young David Austin rose shrub and I noticed there was a little shoot forming on one of the main stem. However me being heavy handed I ended up knocking it off!

Will another one grow in its place?

    One may not grow in the exact same place but other stems will break out at other nodes.

    So not the end of the world for it! And next year it will be bigger and stronger if you treat it right.
