Dahlia cuttings

A while ago I posted that the heavy rain had snapped my Dahlia. You kind folk on here told me all was not lost and I trimmed the snapped bits and popped them in pots. They now look like this..
Please could you tell me what the next steps are for these?

If the roots have filled the pot, either pot them into larger pots or plant them in the soil.
They should form tubers by the first frosts so you can save them for next year.
