Flowers dying off already

Hello Everyone

Me and Hels have grown lots of flowers in pots and hanging baskets but they are starting to get yellow leaves on them and are looking a bit sad we regularly dead head them but they seem to be coming to the end . I've feed them once a week with tomato feed to see if this helps but I don't think so

Thanks

Hi baza. What sorts of flowers are you talking about here?

We do water everyday as the leaves have been drooping but we don't over water

But they seem to be dying from the root up and yes there is aphids on them

baza, one of the signs of over watering is exactly the same as the signs of under watering i.e. plants will droop and many gardeners will think the flowers are needing a drink. Check your compost and only water when that is fairly dry. Watering every day may not always be the remedy - it may be the cause.

Hia ladybird I check the soil and it's dry most of the time we haven't had much rain up here in Durham so I've had to give them a drink i did think that I've been over watering but I don't think that's what's caused it's more likely those aphids

    Thanks

    Baz
