What is this? Can I cut it back?
A while back we needed a plant to fill a hole underneath a hedge. Someone suggested this plant (whose name I now can't remember) and it has the job tremendously. the plant is now looking a bit straggly. Can I cut is back? If so, when? After flowering? Also how far back should I cut? Thanks

It is an Erigeron and it can be cut back to the ground after flowering and it will produce new shoots.
Thanks for the prompt response. Another question, can I divide the plant after I have cut it back?
