tomato leaf problem

Please could someone help identify the problem with my tomato plants?  I noticed that some of the leaves were looking yellow so had a closer look and some of the leaves look like this.

The last ones look a bit mildewy, but it's not uncommon to have a few issues with foliage by now.

Are they outside or in? If they're outside, weather can cause some damage, and plants which are a bit too close together tend to suffer from mildew etc.  Good ventilation is important - so if they're indoors, make sure you open up doors and vents etc, especially if you're having the very hot weather some people have been experiencing.

You can remove some of the foliage too, which can help improve the airflow whether they're out or in image

Its quite normal for lower leaves to get a bit unsightly at this time of year. Just remove them.

  • Thanks for the replies. They are outside and I have probably planted them too close together. I've removed some of the leaves.

Good luck with them l's mum. If they're in pots, you can always move them apart a little bit more to give them better airflow too. I'm sure they'll be fine image
