Sunflowers

Hi There,

I'm new to this blog and I'm seeking help with my sunflowers. This year they have really shot up. I'm talking 10' . They were fine until yesterday when we got a little wind. I staked most of them but a few I didn't. And of course, there are two I didnt and they are bent over this morning. My question; can I still stake them up and what is the best way to do that.

Thanks so  much for your time.

Hi and welcome. I suppose it will depend on how bent is bent? If the stems have flattened where they have bent then I doubt there is much that can be done to save them. If they are just curved over then it may be possible to stake using a cane as tall as the plant is and fasten the stem to the cane.
