looking for Joanne pepper...
Hi all,
Please excuse me here but I'm new to this.
Back in the 80s my Grandad used to breed pinks and carnations. He died back in 1990 and I'm trying to hunt down a pink he named after my sister, as I think this would make a brilliant birthday gift for her. I know the flower still exists and so I'm trying to find the Joanne Pepper pink. If anybody can help it will be very much appreciated
Thank you in advance
Tom

HI Tom, What a lovely idea.
I've included a link for you but I don't know if it'll be any use. It might put you in touch with people who are in touch with people if you know what I mean. Hopefully it's a starting point.
Good Luck.

Nice idea Tom.
I think you would be best trying to contact one of the specialist growers of Dianthus. I'm sure there's quite a few and Mr Google will help you with that
Unless someone else here already knows of a supplier.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thank you for your responses. I have searched Google from top to bottom but I'm useless with computers. I shall be sure to check out the link you have supplied plant pauper.
