Oh really??? I was joking but if you could I'd love you forever. My card has smoke coming out of it so there's an embargo on spending on anything that isn't dog food! image

Might have been my Dicentra . Mine is in damp shade though. I'm not sure they like it too dry....but you should be ok over there PP! image

Fairy, is that a white geranium with a bluish tinge bottom right of pic?

That's the fellow FG. In tight to the trees is dry but out a few feet and I'm hitting a spring so there's a good mix of dry and bog! Nothing in between it seems.

That is gorgeous planting. I have similar Heuchera and some hellebores that might do too. They're just so wee compared to the giant conifers that I feel a bit mean leaving them way down there by themselves! image Soppy cow!

I noticed that Pappi Jo has made "bays" with screens in his garden so I might adapt that idea with larger shrubs and bring the little ones forward a bit. I don't want to make the mowing any more of a chore than it is already so I have to be mindful of my turning circle! I've already beheaded a hawthorn seedling. image

As for tea, it'll be dry bread again...my mum forgot to lift her wholemeal loaf when she left earlier. I hate wholemeal image

Yes - renardii Joyce. The foliage is lovely - quite velvety and thick. Flowers are white with fine purple veining. The other planting has now taken over a bit (that pic was from over a year ago) so I'm taking it out and splitting it up to put further along.

Think it was still in it's pot there. it's grown loads too - must be the quality horse manure I put in  image

I think a lot of the plants in that pic were shoved in (in  pots) to cover bare ground because of the cat issue Pp. Now that I have the water scarecrow I don't have the same issue. They don't like it up 'em image

I posted a terse reply on the cat thread yesterday. Some people have no idea how filthy, maddening, frustrating, disgusting, unhygienic...blah blah blah!

Thanks Fairy. My daughter nicked mine a few years ago instead of dividing it but, as she is now into gardening, I don't want to ask for it back image
