Wondering about these flower IDs

wakeshinewakeshine Posts: 975

Hi just wonder what these are. They're photos I took at an exhibition a couple of years ago but always wondered:

    1. Trollius Golden Queen

    2. Echinacea of some sort

    3. Bromeliad, possibly Blue Rain

    4.Allium spaerocephalum

    5,6, 7. All pelargonium, 7. is probably P. Ardens

    8. White Catananche

    9, Mandevilla

    10. Erysimum Bowles Mauve

I think Number 2 is an Aster.

I don't think No 2 is echinacea. It looks a lot like the aster on Ladybird's label image

i'm with Berghill on 2, erigeron. Don't know which one.

A few leaves and a photo that shows the whole plant is always a great help with ID

It does look like that aster,  doesn't it Ladybird. Not that I have any clue.

Thanks Nutcutlet...yes on my newer photos I am definitely trying to rememeber to include leaves and whole plant this - thanks for that. These photos were taken when I was just doing it for photography purposes and I was also using a depth of field lens I usually use for portraits. They are not ideal for these ID requests!
