What is this?

We found this growing on the inside of an old plant pot we were discarding. At the time there were no flowers just the start of a wide stem ... so we replanted it and now we have a beautiful ....??? imageimageimageimage

    I've never seen so many flower heads and the stem is amazing.

    There is a fascination thread on here somewhere, it would be lovely if you could add your photos to the collection.

    Just shows that 'freaks' can be very attractive...  image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
