unknown plant name

imageimage   Can anyone tell me what this plant is called please?  To me, it looks like long strings of green peas, but just recently it has developed little flowers which are white, fluffy and have pink stamens curled over at the end.  The flowers have a kind of sweet scent - almost vanilla. I guess it is some kind of succulent, I have had it two years now and it was taken from a cutting from friends in Cyprus.

I think it may be Senecio rowleyanus, the 'String of Beads' plant.

  • Brilliant, thank you Ladybird, that's really helpful, I've had a quick google, and it certainly looks the same!  The plant seems to like 'hanging around' here!

I've never seen a flower before but how pretty it is!
