Picking the right plant

Hello this is my first post sorry if I've missed anything off , I have a newish build house with a half pannel half trellis fence split horizontally , as you can imagine it can get a little weird seeing the neighbours especially when it's rented.

im looking for a climbing plant for the trellis thats evergreen grows fast and is ok if my dog decides to have a nibble of the leaves

any advice would be great fully received

thanks Matthew

If you have an Aldi near you, they are selling lovelly Clematis, 3 varieties for £5.99 each, I bought one last year, about a mtr tall, its now 2 mtrs and have just treated myself to 2 more.  I wouldnt swear in a court of law it is harmless to dogs, but thought safer than Honeysuckle.  How about a climbing rose, too many to suggest, depends on aspect, sun, soil type, maybe the thorns would stop the dog wanting to chew leaves?

I've got several clematis, and one dog. She's not interested in the clematis.

Runner beans however strangely seem to go missing...

There are some evergreen clematis which may work and I'm sure you'll get plenty of ideas from others here.

I've got a trachelospermum jasminoides on a fence. It grows quite quickly, is evergreen and smothered in strongly scented white flowers in the summer.
    Ivy would be another possibility
