Yellow leaves on rose

Help! I have had a problem with Ants on this beautiful rose, which much water washing, the rose was able to flower. However, now the leaves are turning yellow , this has not happened before. Can any one help?

It's possible the ants have a nest under the rose, and the roots are being deprived of food and water. Also, you talk about "much washing" - have you put so much water on the roots that you've washed the nutrients out of the soil?
