Apple rust

This is directed at all of you who grow apples. I'm increasingly seeing rust like spots on apple tree leaves. Both in person and through other online groups. The RHS don't offer any advice on rust on apple trees and don't even list it as something that can affect UK apple trees. All I see is US sites with apple rust problems. How many of you have noticed similar outbreaks on your apples.

Thanks for posting this. I also need this information as some apple seedlings I'm growing have also developed bad rust. I was going to ask should I spray it with anti-fungal, like the ones used for roses, e.g. Rose Clear? Or do we need to do something else...
