Anyone know what this is?

Not the buddleia. It's the more pink 'fluffy' plant I'm wondering about. My friend brought me out this lovely bunch of flowers from her garden but she isn't sure what this plant is. I'd like to grow some myself.

    I posted before a picture appeared. I asked for a photo.

    I thought Spirea but not sure of variety. Mine has flatter heads.

    Ah...image. Easily done fidgetbones.

    I'm not certain on the exact name. I used to have one and it was the best match I could find via google images.

    It's long gone now, full of scale insect image

    It could be spirea douglassii, if it is I would advise against growing it as throws up suckers everywhere and once you have it you'll never get rid of it.  Have a look back on the thread "what the flipping 'eck is this" and you'll see what I mean!

    I hate it with a vengeance nutcutlet, I need to go out and pull loads more suckers out of my borders when it's not so hot, bl**dy neighbours image
