I actually jut got some compost from Aldi as desperate to pot on some flowers and peppers and a friend said it was good, I agree lovely stuff and so far so good, might be tempted to go back there again.
I have no empty bags or receipts for all the compost I bought, and no photographs of the dying plants as I though I was over / under watering etc ... A lesson learned
It's now beginning to make sense. I bought 12 large Levington growbags from a local garden centre in the early spring (Whittakers, Prescot, Merseyside). I used 6 as growbags for tomatoes in my polytunnel and the remainder as potting material for chillies, peppers and aubergines and cucumbers. I think some of the bags were last year's stock, because some had a "special offer" printed on them and some didn't. But it didn't concern me, because they'd all been stored under cover.
Most of my tom plants look weak and spindly, with yellowish leaves with poor and stunted growth on some plants. 5 of my my 12 Padron chilli plants have hardly moved and other plants are showing similar irregular growth, Some good, some bad. However another batch of Levington bags purchased from B&Q over May bank holiday, were used exclusively in my greenhouse and the tom and chilli plants in them are growing really well. All the plants were raised together before planting up in growbags or using growbags compost. I thought it could be that my tunnel is colder (it has vented side walls) and is on a windy allotment. But now I am of the opinion that some of the bags (I'm guessing last year's) have the aminopyralid contamination.
I've just had the same problem with Levington bags bought in April. Spoke to the RHS and they confirmed weedkiller damage from contaminated grow bags. Will be contacting Scotts today!
I should point out to avoid any confusion, that Scotts own the Levington brand.
You will find it on their website.
What you won't find on the Levington part of their website, is a review I posted of their large tomato grow bag. I posted it about 2 weeks ago. When I clicked on send, I got the response that it would take about 5-7 days to be posted. How interesting that its not been posted yet. Do they only publish positive reviews?
Penny81 and Jerry 12 - what did your Levington bags look like?
Did they have 2 for £8 on the top like this?
I think these are this year's batch (And offer). I've used some of these too and not had any problems. The ones that seem to be contaminated don't have the offer on, and look slightly different. I suspect they are from 2016 or possibly even earlier. Only got a side on shot, because I've used them all now.

I too will be contacting Levington.

June 30th
I realised the problem with my tomatoes when I saw a photo and readers letter in the June issue of Gardeners World
i bought my Levingtons grow bags at my branch of Wyevale garden nursery in Gloucester
They tell me they have had no complaints and to contact Levingtons but can't find a contact address
Can anyone help me
[email protected]
I'm no expert, but I understand that retail law says your contract is with the retailer , NOT the producer.
The Sale of Goods Act say " goods must be of mechantable quality and fit for the purpose sold"
don't let Wyevale fob you off. It's up to THEM to deal with it.

There's a post just above from Keith Part who has kindly given his email address if anyone wants info about the Levingtons claim.
Scotts Miracle Grow - Customer Services email is :-
[email protected]
This was the contact email that Keith Part (above) was using and eventually got some money back.
However, I wrote to that email address about a week ago, and they have not even bothered to acknowledge my email, never mind actually replying to it.
Great customer service (not!).

Methinks there's a large cover up going on.

Mine weren't the giant grow bags and didn't have any price on them
