Mine are planted with other perennials - echinops, achillea The Pearl, geums, rudbeckias. I have to support the echinops as they are tall and get blown about but the other stuff only falls over it we have gales.

Looks more natural that way holliehock. We have made some of Monty's supports for our taller plants, but they don't look great - I also use bamboo canes & twine but that can look pretty awful too, however it is a shame to let a plant completely flop as they often do in our wind blown garden.

That must make a lovely display obelixx - do you have any pictures please? I also grow geums & rudbeckias but am not familiar with your other choices.
