Has it had any flowers on it at all?
could be a crocosmia ! Does it have any flowers?
From leaves alone--and without a scale--it's hard to tell. Could be anything from a grass to an iris to a crocosmia. Lots of things have grassy leaves. Might be able to help more if you can upload a photo either of flowers or even of a close-up of the leaf plus a scale. Sorry.
a Carex pendula that size should be flowering now but we can't see the top of the plant

Ahahaha yes, that's Carex pendula.
Those are the flowers Southern Girl. If you don't want it everywhere, cut them off before they form seeds
