White fluff on cucumber plants

Hi.

I checked my cucumbers today and found they were covered in white fuzz. I assume it's mildew.

I watered them about 2/3 days ago and they were fine then.

A quick search and I read that a gallon of water with some veg oil and baking soda is good at removing the fuzz.

Has anyone else got any recommendations?

You could try one part milk (not skimmed) in 20 parts water, and sprayed every 5 days until clear.

There an article from the RHS here on how to deal with it.
I'd try one of the suggestions listed under Any Crop:
I've never used SB Invigorator, but have heard good reviews - it's also completely natural so you can spray the plant and pick cucumbers straight away (but give 'em a wash first)
