Such an emotive piece of cloth, a flag, isn't it?  image

And cloth has so many uses

    In London. Keen but lazy.

Isn't it, just!  It's the irrefutable power of the emblem.

    B3, yes, a cloth has many uses.image

  • Pretty powerful these seas of flags.

The yellow poster made me laugh.  There were several of them about.  I think this is its message:

    See original post

Douglas Adams, in his trilogy "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", said that a towel was the most useful piece of kit an intergalactic traveller could carry, and stressed the importance of always knowing where your towel is.  If you need rescuing from an alien civilisation, you can wave it as a distress signal to passing spaceships, while pretending to the aliens that you are being patriotic and waving your national flag.

Talking of the "Hitchhiker's Guide", that multi-headed brexit figure makes the PM look remarkably like Eccentrica Gallumbits, the triple-breasted whore of Eroticon VI.

Things are getting decidedly worse, I think.  Seriously worrying.

Let's have something really sweet.  My neighbour's nephew is almost 4 years old.  He spends one afternoon a week with her, which they both love.

Today, she and I were in her garden, when she asked the child to run in to the kitchen, look at the clock and then tell her where its hands were.

He hopped in and when he came out explained: one hand looks this way and the other the other way!

    Of course!

  • Neither you nor his aunt had any trouble working out the time, I'm sure!image
