Is this Borage?

imageI thought this was Borage but now I'm not sure, it grows by the side of the house. I have seen Borage in the GC & it doesn't look like this, any ideas?

Looks more like green alkanet to me.  It is in the same family hence the similar flowers.

no, it's not borage but it's in that family.

Might be a rather stunted green alkanet. How many plants are there? Green alkanet spreads around and there's usually more than one plant

Sorry Myosotis. It isn't borage but is Alkanet. This can be a bit of a thug in gardens but bees love it.

Thank you, there are four, my husband pulls them up but because they have rooted down a gap at the side of the house they always come back. I quite like them.

Yes, I keep a small patch of them and just pull them up when they spread too much.  Not much choice really as the roots are too deep to dig out without damaging my other shrubs but they are very pretty and keep the bees happy. image
