    I've managed to zoom in on the image and am almost certain it is indeed a rudbeckia and looks like a double form:

  • Hello All. I have had a reply from Andrew Mudge, the Head Gardener at Cliveden who tells me that the plant is indeed a Rudbeckia, variant called Tiger Eye.  I shall be looking out for that to plant up by my Yew next year.
