Unknown coastal plant

GuybrushGuybrush Posts: 172

Hi folks, any idea what this plant is? I found it in a walk along the coast on some sand dunes. It basically a big mass of tangled red stems with little knobbly bits on it (sorry to be technical lol). I've tried googling it but to no avail.

Cheers

I'm wondering if it's one of the Dodders image

Ah thanks yous two! I've never heard of dodders before. They sound a bit nasty, I feel sorry for the plant underneath all that, shame as they look nice with their red stems and pink flowers.

    Cheers again
