When can I move box hedge?
We have an established box hedge which runs around one of the flower beds in our garden. The beds are just too much work so I was going to have a go at selling the box on eBay (on the condition that the buyer digs it up!).
When would be the best time to move it?

Late Autumn would be the best time.
Thanks Ladybird, I did find that on another site as well. Feel a bit mean digging it up but it takes up quite a bit of our garden and hopefully someone else will get the benefit!
I wouldn't go too late, evergreens are generally best moved when they can grow and get established, spring or early autumn.

Thanks Nutcutlet. I think I will list at the beginning of September then it's up to the buyer when they come and dig them up.
Good idea Boris.
