Angelica Gigas seeding ID

in Plants
I have been trying to grow Angelica Gigas for two years. No luck last year but I have some seedlings this year. I don't know if they are A Gigas or some weed seeds that ended up in the pots.

Not sure what it is, but I do know what it isn't.
It aint Angelica
Oh fidget bones, you destroyer of dreams! It popped up in various other seed pots so no doubt Nut will be on shortly to confirm which weed it is I've been pampering over the past month. I'm giving up on A.G. it has beaten me.
That's the best plan - it'll pop up everywhere next year now

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
I meant the "weed" has popped up in other pots. I am assuming I am currently Gigasless.
I think your well tended plant might just be a willow - Salix caprea or one similar.
Looks vaguely like Leycesteria formosa, aka Pheasant Berry or Himlayan Honeysuckle....
Could be either of the above, I'm struggling to find good photos of the seedlings of those plants, but I think I'll plump for Salix caprea, and head off to the compost bin with them!
Definitely Salix, probably caprea.
You need to set Angelica gigas fresh in autumn and leave it outside. It will germinate in spring.
Derry Watkins should have some later

I've been planting them in Spring, in the greenhouse, that'll be why. I've used up all of the seed from Sarah Raven, so I'll try the above site and try again in Autumn. Thanks Nut.
OMG Nut, more plant porn to peruse. I'm a hopeless case
