Hello all,
Put down slug pellets and everything fine but something ate my lupins. Now it is a mystery so sending in Colombo and his rain mac!! Just joking. Not a rabbit, not slugs so what is it looks orange and bug like it seems to disappear then reappear any ideas?

Hi the Lupin aphid is more than likely to blame for the damage.
When I grew them they would be ok for a while then suddenly get attacked so I would
spray with a soap solution which seemed good for a while then they would come again.
Once the flowers came out all seemed well.
It was a constant battle which in the end after a couple of seasons I finally gave in and stopped
growing them. All my friends seem to have the same problem so I will be looking for answers
from some of the forum experts. I also had the same problem with Red Hot Pokers..
