Loganberries not developing

SuKF says:

I have a small plot, about 3 metres square, covered in raspberry canes which are fruiting prolifically. On the northern  (south-facing) fence at the edge of the plot I planted a loganberry 3 years ago.

Ever since, the loganberry has produced many strong canes each year, but the fruit, after forming normally as small green berries, ripens without swelling as small hard dark red berries which rapidly rot off.

This year I have fed the plant regularly with tomato fertiliser, and it has certainly had enough water, yet the fruits are as poor as ever, while the adjacent raspbrerries go from strength to strength.

The plot is on shallow topsoil over chalk, in Hampshire. I always cut out the previous year's canes at the end of the season.

Can anyone give me an explanation?

Exactly the same for me. I'm in Oxfordshire. Some Brown spotting on the leaves as well. Also 2nd year running with quince blight. Can'the get rid of it. Not likely to be a cross-infection but with the non-summer I think it must be a fungus.
