    It also depends what you want it for. If it's for under a path or driveway you need to go for the heavier weight 100gsm. If it's for on a border with little or no foot traffic the lighter weight stuff will be ok. 

    Make sure you order enough to allow for some overlaps between the widths / lengths.

     hi  mrs lilly pond    as a avid user of membrain  I swear by it BUT PREP WORK IS IMPORTANT   I have used on my leeks  onions and a small amount  can get through witch means you missed a few  when I know where I am going to use it I dig it over take all weeds break up all lumps leave for a week then take out weeds you missed then after a while I spray it ( but if you are a non sprayer go over it again for weeds )    I use a heavy gauge look on amazon  loads  and loads  at all sizes    hope it helps  Michael
