Thanks for that Hazel. I've not been here quite long enough to know how everything works yet.

Granma, if you go to the thread "Forum bug", Nora has posted on there with details of how to contact her with any problems.

The thread is currently showing at the bottom of page one of latest posts.

    Hope this helps you.

Edit: I'm going to bump it to the top.

Hortico - to open your messages , when you've clicked on the link and got the 'blank' page you then need to go to the top right hand corner where your name is and click on the round flower symbol (or your avatar) - you'll them gat a drop down menu - click on My Messages.

Granma - my guess is that you're seeing an envelope symbol at the top of your page saying you have messages. It's an advert - when you click on it it tells you that somepne is trying to steal your details. They don't mean 'you personally'. They mean all of us - there is always someone 'out there' trying to steal our details. The advert is an attempt to sell you their virus software etc. Ignore it.

If the GW team need to contact you about something important they will send you an email.

I didn't send you  a PM Mike, and I rarely look at my messages unless I'm expecting oneor need to send one.

And Dove's right. Scammers. Nobody has to give the forum those kinds of details - credit card info etc.

Granma I'll send you a PM, Dove's comment sounds about right. As FG says, the site doesn't store credit card details so you don't need to worry.

I'll lock these threads so as to prevent other forum members going into panic, but I'll send you a PM to gather more details.
