My trees are dying

jonathan18 says:

The fir trees in our garden seem to be dying, ( see pic ) I thought it was something I had done, but I ve seen the same problem in other gardens in Cheshire.

Is there anything I can do, is it a national problem?

Cheers

Jonathan

    Hi jonathan18

I don't know where you are but we have had a similar problem with evergreens being pruned at the wrong time of year. Do you know what your neighbours think? Have they been affected, done any major weed killing at your boundary? It looks a wee bit more serious than windburn.

We have treehugger or bushman on the forum maybe they can be more helpful

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

  • we did prune them a few weeks ago, I didn t realise there was a wrong time to prune.

I ve seen a few other trees with a similar problem, I thought it was may be fungal.

May be they will come back, does anyone know when I should prune?
