I have a Daphne which is thriving and smells beautiful in spring, it is in a pot. I now have another space for a potted shrub by the back door. I would like one with perfume like the Daphne, but flowers through the summer months, any ideas?
How about Daphne 'Eternal Fragrance', which is claimed to flower from April to October?

Daphne tangutica is flowering now and is well scented.
