Apple tree problems

I may have acted inappropriately and may get a telling off from some but I thinned out the apple trees in the hope of allowing more air to circulate and reduce the moist, damp conditions for the fungi to survive.  In doing so I noticed little flying things (probably aphids growing up) and some ants.  Hopefully by reducing the sap from new growth and thinning them out I may have a half decent crop of apples xxx

    Thank you all x

Probably the best thing to do. Shame is that one can no longer buy Copper sulphate which was as good as anything for Blackspot aka Scab without being to non-organic.

The apple trees in the neighbouring land are also affected.  As they are within 2-3meters of border and my trees, I think I will always be a sufferer.
