Wild flower?? ID please

FlyfiferFlyfifer Posts: 167

Can someone please  ID this wild flower//weed. it is growing on a very stoney chalk bank at work.  As there is a lot it may be a bit invasive. I think if I had it in my garden I would like to class it as a wild flower as it  is quite a nice plant.

Thank you very much nututlet I did initially think mallow but as it has not been sown here and is growing so very profusely it put me off the thought.  Looks like I will be seed collecting then, do you know if it is an annual or not.

It's a mad colour Flyfifer. It looks as if it's been painted. Lovely plant.

It was the bright vivid colour that drew my attention to it and made me want some, hence the idea of collecting some seed from it .

PP just seen your last post made me lol. But my crafts stops at walking sticksimage
