    we used to have as many as 13 and loads of small finchs and blue tits coal  and the like   now we have about 5 and 3 woodies come down when we go out to let dog out of run and feed her before we have time to feed her the doves and woodies are waiting loads ot tree sparrows but no more finchs or robins     image

    I get black birds,robins,sparrows,blue & great tits,sometimes gold finches,pigeons no green finches.image

    We still have collared doves coming into our garden.

    The sparrows are currently my biggest customers at the bird feeder Michael. House sparrows though. One pair brought the babies for a visit last year, shuffling along the fence, chivvied by their proud Dad image

    I like the collared ones very much KT - they seem to be thin on the ground here these days, which is a great shame. I had them regularly in the garden round the corner, and it's only about seven years since I lived there. image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    We have our breeding pair, they bring the young then after a while chase them off, we get just occasionally a Wood Pigeon, who is no problem, has a walk around then walks off, we have lots of song birds in the garden, from blackbirds to little dunnocks, fed on sunflower hearts and for ground feeders song bird seed, lovely.

    They are all at my house image 

    eating my seed, sitting inside my bird feeder, making a huge racket and doing rude things in my tree.
