Quarter it lengthways and steam - serve with stir fried chicken and ginger

You need to get to know the BBC Good Food website - search for recipes by ingredient or nationality.

    Here's pak choi - http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/search/recipes?query=pak+choi

    Hi LP

I love this veg its so useful in your food is a great addition to meals that you can cook quickly

I have used it in salads, omellettes, stirfrys, added to curry last minute used like a spinach however i love the crunch it gives and when as one of our readers already mentioned is great with garlic, ginger, chill and spices.

It is a bit tempremental as it does bolt however kept in partial shade and well watered a good crop should be given as a return.

The plants grow so quickly and i just keep plucking from plants to satisfy our next meal addition and it lasts so long

    Hi all

just an update on the paq choi and you can see how it has grown in two weeks

There is signs of bolting from some plants however I can live with that as there will be plenty for my stir fry pan and also give aways

    happy gardening
